Warranty Policy

Returns

- All returns require pre-authorization from PedSafety. For a return to be accepted, a return request (RMA) must be submitted within 30 days from the invoice date. Additionally, all returned products must be returned to us in new condition and accompanied by their original packaging.

Refunds

- PedSafety will conduct a thorough inspection of authorized returns upon receipt. A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all items returned in new condition and in their original packaging. Please note that special and custom orders are not eligible for return.

- The customer is liable to pay any return shipping costs that may occur.

Pedestrian and Cyclist Push Buttons Limited Warranty

- PedSafety assures the quality of our pedestrian and cyclist push buttons and all related interface devices, warranting them to be free from material and workmanship defects during regular use for a period of five years from the date of purchase. The warranty coverage entails either the repair or replacement of the product at our discretion.

Accessible Pedestrian Signals Limited Warranty

- PedSafety assures the quality of our accessible pedestrian signals and all related interface devices, warranting them to be free from material and workmanship defects during regular use for a period of three years from the date of purchase. The warranty coverage entails either the repair or replacement of the product at our discretion.

Inspections and Repairs Post-Warranty

- Post-warranty inspection and repair services will be undertaken with customer approval at a minimum charge of $20.00 per occurrence, or the cost of failed components, depending on which amount is greater. In the event that the customer opts not to approve the repair costs, a $20.00 inspection fee will be levied. The end user is responsible for covering shipping costs. All post-warranty repairs are backed by a 90-day guarantee.

The warranty exclusively encompasses the repair or replacement of equipment and explicitly excludes coverage for any labor involved in the removal of non-conforming equipment or the installation of new or repaired equipment. Additionally, the warranty does not extend to cosmetic deterioration, improperly installed equipment, overvoltage, knockdowns, vandalism, floods, fire, and other acts of God.
