To enable the proper functioning of the 4EVR® MOAB in latching mode, a latching interface isolator card is required. This innovative button eliminates the need for moving plungers or electrical contacts, ensuring complete insulation to prevent electrical shock under any weather conditions. The 4EVR® MOAB employs a piezo switch element designed to prevent constant calls, with a pressure-sensitive actuator that remains mechanically isolated from the piezo switch, ensuring damage-free operation.

Moreover, the top of the button station serves as a handle, providing cyclists with stability while waiting for a crossing signal.

When a cyclist waves their hand within 1-6 inches from the sensor, the system activates a momentary LED indicator and produces an audible tone (dee-dah) to signal the pedestrian call. The nxtCycle Wave can be acquired in either Momentary or Latching LED modes, which may require specific isolators. Additionally, the button cup allows for straightforward installation on a variety of pole sizes, and the pole relief channel ensures a secure and snug fit.

Through the integration of either the PBIC or the PBI-L, our system ensures that the LED on your product remains illuminated even after the button is pressed, persisting until the pedestrian signal head displays the walk signal. This advanced technology goes above and beyond to guarantee compliance with the stringent ADA and MUTCD standards, elevating intersections to the required level of accessibility and safety. Our PBIC-24, designed to seamlessly integrate into a 24V detector rack within the control cabinet (with the requirement of a 24V supply), is a versatile solution that can efficiently handle up to four phases and accommodate a maximum of 16 pedestrian or cyclist buttons. For more extensive and intricate intersections, the option to incorporate multiple modules ensures the flexibility to meet additional phase requirements.

Similarly, our PBIC-120 is engineered to fit snugly into the 120V detector rack within the control cabinet (while necessitating a 120V supply). Like the PBIC-24, it has the capacity to manage up to four phases and cater to 16 pedestrian or cyclist buttons, with the added advantage of expanding to accommodate extra phase requirements by adding multiple modules.

For a hardwired solution, our PBI-L offers an effective means of control within the cabinet, managing up to four phases and 16 pedestrian or cyclist buttons. In cases of large, intricate intersections, the option to incorporate multiple PBI-L modules remains available to meet diverse phase requirements. In summary, our versatile PBIC-24/PBI-L system efficiently manages up to four phases and can readily adapt to include additional modules for accommodating an extensive array of buttons, making it the ideal choice for intersections of varying complexity.
