Guardian® Wave

$0.00

Overview:

Pedestrian Safety and decreasing the spread of germs are at the heart of the Guardian® Wave, the latest touchless independent system from PedSafety.  No longer will pedestrians have to push the same button as countless others.  With easy wiring access and configuration, the Guardian® Wave APS has a simple and flexible configuration and delivers safety, simplicity, reliability, and cost-effectiveness at any intersection.

As a testament to its simplicity, the Guardian® Wave (like its predecessor The Guardian®) is a cabinet-free, completely independent pedestrian system. Encompassing everything agencies know and trust about the Guardian® Accessible Pedestrian Signal and Advisor Guide Accessible Pedestrian Station (AGPS), the Guardian® Wave offers greater sound quality and control, and still provides an ambient gain compensation locator tone, specific to the Guardian Wave, extended press options, vibrotactile walk indications, and optional clearance phase indications; all adjustments and settings can be made at the pedestrian station via USB connection or Bluetooth®.

About:

The Guardian® Wave is an independent 4-wire system that allows for true plug-and-play installation. Our programming utility, PedConnex®, is a straightforward and user-friendly way to customize and program each station at the intersection. In addition to enhanced usability and a new, more vandal-resistant body style, just like the Guardian® APS, the Guardian® Wave comes with all of the same Advisor Guide Pedestrian Station hallmarks that agencies all over the country have come to know and trust. You can expect improved sound quality, specific locator tones for visually impaired pedestrians, customizable verbal messaging, vibrotactile actuation acknowledgment, and a host of other features designed to fit your needs.

4EVR® MOAB Wave

$0.00

Overview:

With the 4EVR® MOAB standing out as one of our most beloved pedestrian push buttons (PPB), it was only logical for us to introduce a touchless option. Like its resilient counterparts in the push button family, the 4EVR® MOAB Wave upholds its reputation as the market’s most rugged button. What distinguishes it is the effortless ability to initiate a call with a mere wave of the hand, enhancing both convenience and user experience.

About:

The 4EVR® MOAB Wave is an innovative non-contact push button, featuring digital control through a robust active infrared sensor that operates seamlessly in various weather conditions, even in rain and snow. Crafted from solid aluminum, this button is exceptionally durable and resistant to both vandalism and impact. What sets it apart is its touchless functionality – a simple hand wave within a 1-6 inch range of the sensor triggers a momentary LED indicator and an audible tone (dee-dah), initiating a pedestrian call. Additionally, the 4EVR® MOAB Wave offers flexibility, available in both Latching and Momentary LED modes, with compatibility options using a PBIC-24 or PBIL isolator card.

nxtCycle Wave touchless cyclist button

nxtCycle Wave

$0.00

Overview:

Introducing the nxtCycle Wave, meticulously engineered with cyclists in mind. This cutting-edge device redefines convenience and safety by seamlessly combining state-of-the-art technology with rugged durability. At its core, the nxtCycle Wave features a non-contact push-button system, meticulously crafted for cyclists’ needs. Cyclists can now effortlessly activate signals without the need to dismount, eliminating the risk of using pedestrian buttons or resorting to illegal crossings.

Crafted with ergonomics in mind, the handle of nxtCycle Wave ensures a comfortable and intuitive user experience. Its robust construction guarantees longevity, even in the most demanding environments. Plus, the generous actuation surface further enhances ease of use, making nxtCycle Wave the epitome of intersection innovation.

About:

What sets it apart is its active infrared sensor, an innovation that functions flawlessly in all weather conditions, be it rain or snow. Crafted from solid aluminum, the button is resistant to vandalism and impacts, making it suitable for use on streets and bike paths. Moreover, the top of the button station serves as a handle, providing cyclists with stability while waiting for a crossing signal.

When a cyclist waves their hand within 1-6 inches from the sensor, the system activates a momentary LED indicator and produces an audible tone (dee-dah) to signal the pedestrian call. The nxtCycle Wave can be acquired in either Momentary or Latching LED modes, which may require specific isolators. Additionally, the button cup allows for straightforward installation on a variety of pole sizes, and the pole relief channel ensures a secure and snug fit.

WiAAPS® Wave

Overview:

Fully compliant with MUTCD and agency specifications, the Wireless Advanced Accessible Pedestrian System (WiAAPS®) communicates through a secured network and utilizes field wires for power. Now with “Wave” capability, pedestrians can utilize the no-contact active infrared sensor to place a call at the intersection. The “Wave” active infrared sensor operates independently from the physical push button and provides a germ-free means of actuation. The simple set-up and web-based management capabilities make this solution a truly innovative part of any intersection.

About:

The Wireless Data Transfer Advisor Advanced Pedestrian System (WiAAPS®) seamlessly aligns with MUTCD and agency standards. Operating on a secure network and powered through field wires, it’s straightforward installation and web-based management render it a truly pioneering addition to any intersection. To achieve a comprehensive setup, the acquisition of WiAPBs and a WiAPC is essential. the addition of the “Wave” active infrared sensor maintains MUTCD compliance and creates a secondary form of actuation separate from the Physical actuator. Please be aware that these components are not compatible with the legacy AAPS system.

Secured Network Solution:

Much like its predecessor, the WiAAPS®, the Advanced Pedestrian Coordinator (APC) is in continuous communication with each Advanced Pedestrian Button (APB) in a network-based, distributed control system. Direct Ethernet access or remote network connection allows real-time system monitoring and control of operating parameters, while also providing the capability to upload files directly to individual pedestrian stations or download reports generated by the APC. This innovative solution still offers an ambient gain compensation locator tone, extended press options, vibrotactile walk indications, and optional clearance phase indications. The “Wave” sensor also allows pedestrians to place an extended press call. Sensor settings, such as distance detection and sensitivity of the sensor, can be adjusted to meet the needs of the intersection.
