Product Overview

Campbell Company is a comprehensive manufacturer of signs for pedestrian station at the crosswalk. We also fabricate Braille, Wayfinding, and Pictogram signs that meet ADAAG, ANSI, and MUTCD standards. No matter the material, legend, shape, or size Campbell Company can support your customized request and meet a variation of sign mounting dimensions for pedestrian stations.

Materials

  • Aluminum sign; enameled and screen printed.
  • VRS; Laminated structural plastic is machined with the legend.
  • Engineering films; engineering grades and diamond grades.

Aluminum

Campbell Company's Al signs are coated with white acrylic enamel and a UV cured -ink screen printed legend.

Signs with a directional arrow come double sided (left/right arrow) with exception of a double arrow legend signs (these are single sided only). All other pedestrian signage comes standard with single sided legend.

Engineering Films

Engineering grade and retroreflective films with ink screen legend are available to accommodate an array of pedestrian signage and dimensions.

Vandal Resistant Signs (VRS)

Campbell Company's VRS signs are made from a durable laminate structural plastic which is virtually vandal proof and impenetrable to graffiti. The legends are machined with a subtractive removal technique that offers a high tactile resolution and distinct color contrast.

Legends

Almost any legend can be placed on the sign. Legends listed in the 2009 MUTCD Section 2, Figure 2B-26 are the most typical.

Braille Signs

Campbell Company has state of the art engraving capabilities to produce the Raster (TM) Method of Braille ADA compliant signs. This method has become the preferred process for ADA-compliant Braille. The domed shape Braille has a clean uniform appearance that is easy to read and can be used in almost any material, allowing greater flexibility in choice of material substrates.

Rasters (TM) are available in UV stable acrylic and metal. Use clear Rasters for practically invisible Braille, or use a contrasting color to comply with design requirements. (Black acrylic, White acrylic, Clear acrylic, Stainless Steel, or Brass)

Wayfinding and Pictograms

Wayfinding and Pictograms signs provide accessibility information to people with a variety of disabilities in the form of tactile and visual medium. Campbell Company's engraving capabilities provide a full spectrum of raised, incised, and subsurface engraving techniques for raised lettering and pictograms. Our laminated structural plastic materials have excellent tactile resolution and visual contrast properties that meet the material requirements specified in the ANSI/ADAAG guidelines.
