Overview
The Freedom Push Button is a no touch – no contact pedestrian detector. Calls are activated when the pedestrian places their hand in close proximity to the surface of the push button. Easy for children, senior citizens, and pedestrians with disabilities to activate with a mere slide of the hand. The Freedom is configurable as a momentary or latching device. ADA and MUTCD compliant.
Latch Mode Configurations
The Freedom can be configured with momentary or latching LED. In the latching mode the pilot light is lit when the call is placed and remains on until the walk display is energized. All pushbuttons on the phase are synchronized. For operation in Latching Mode the 4 EVR requires an ENIM or PCIB.
Enlightened Interface Module (ENIM)
The ENIM mounts in the control cabinet. Field connections from the PPB interface with the load switches and field terminals at the interface module. One ENIM manages up to four phases and 16 push buttons.
Push Button Isolator Card (PBIC)
The PBIC fits in to a 170 card file and fills two card slots replacing the existing isolator cards in the rack. One card manages up to four phases and 16 Push Buttons.
