Overview

The Push Button Interface Card (PBIC) synchronizes multiple 4 EVR or Freedom Push Buttons on the same phase in a latching mode. An audible Dee Dah feedback as well as having the LED latch for all pushbuttons on that same phase will latch until the walk display is energized.  The PBIC is ADA and MUTCD compliant.

Configuration

One PBIC manages up to four phases, and 16 push buttons. For large complex intersections, multiple modules can be added to service additional phase requirements.

The PBIC slides in to the detector rack in the control cabinet.

Overview

The cast pedestrian stations provide an integral push button mount and sign display platform. Each pedestrian station has adjustable mounting saddles to provide a snug fit to any pole, wire chase for service entry, and all hardware required for mounting the pedestrian station and sign.

Cast pedestrian stations are made from aluminum. Mounting hardware is SS.

Powder Coated: Yellow (Y), Textured Black (B), Green (G) Standard (S)

Geometry

• 57 H mounts a 3” push button and displays a 5 X 7 ¾” sign
• 912 H mounts a 3” round push button and displays a 9X 12 “ sign

Typical Movement (TM) push button is a spring actuated pressure sensitive Peizo switch that cannot be stuck in a constant call. It is designed to look and feel like a mechanical push button with the electrical specifications and life span of a solid state switch. 5 year warranty.

Machined from solid stock to precise dimensions and finish, the TM is available in metal or PVC Type II plastics. Durable and robust, the TM push buttons are tough and vandal proof.  ADA compliant.

One ENIM manages up to four phases, and 16 push buttons. For large complex intersections, multiple modules can be added to service additional phase requirements. The Enlightened Interface Module is ADA and MUTCD compliant.

The ENIM mounts on the side rail in the control cabinet with easy access to the 120 load bay, pedestrian detector rack, and field pedestrian push button wires. Field connections from the PPB interface with the load switches and field terminals at the interface.
